Control Valve Body Assemble

1. Assemble the 2-3 accumulator valve (344), the 2-3 accumulator valve spring (346) and bore plug (343) into the accumulator bushing (345).
2. Install the 2-3 accumulator valve retainer (385) into the accumulator bushing (345) into the slot indicated.
3. Assemble the 3-4 accumulator valve spring (340), accumulator valve (341) and 2-3 accumulator valve bushing (345) into the valve body (301).
4. Hold the bushing (345) in the valve body (301). Install the 2-3 accumulator valve bore retainer (342) into the slot indicated.





5. Assemble the 3-4 accumulator valve spring (351), 3-4 accumulator valve (350) and bore plug (339) into the valve body (301).
6. Hold the bore plug (339) in the valve body (301). Install the 1-2, 3-4 accumulator valve retainer (314A) into the valve body (301).





7. Assemble the 2-3 shift valve (357), 3-2 manual downshift valve (356), valve spring (355) and bore plug (354) into the valve body (301).
8. Hold the bore plug (354) in the valve body. Install the 3-2 manual downshift valve retainer (353) into the valve body (301).





9. Assemble the 3-4 shift valve (362), valve spring (361), 4-3 manual downshift valve (360) and bore plug (359) into the valve body (301).
10. Hold the bore plug (359) in the valve body. Install the 4-3 manual downshift valve retainer (314B) into the valve body (301).





11. Install a new O-ring seal (316) onto the 2-3 shift solenoid valve (315B) if it had been removed.
12. Assemble the shift solenoid valve (315B) into the valve body (301).
13. Install the 2-3 shift solenoid valve spring retainer (314C) into the valve body (301).





14. Assemble the forward and reverse servo boost valves (367 A/B) and springs (366 A/B) into the valve body (301).
15. Compress the springs (366 A/B) and install the bore pins (363 A/B) into their holes in the valve body (301).
16. Use a pin punch and a hammer. Drive the bore pins (363 A/B) into the valve body (301).





17. Install the TCC regulator apply valve O-ring seal (328) onto the bore plug (329).
18. Assemble the TCC regulator apply valve spring (326), TCC regulator apply valve (327) and bore plug (329) into the valve body (310).
19. Hold the bore plug (329) in the valve body (301). Install the TCC regulator apply valve spring retainer (314G) into the valve body (310).





20. Install new O-ring seals (305, 306) onto the TCC PWM solenoid valve (334) if they had been removed.
21. Assemble the TCC control valve spring (336), valve (335) and TCC PWM solenoid valve (334) into the valve body (301).
22. Hold the solenoid valve (334) in the valve body (301). Install the TCC control valve spring retainer (314F) into the valve body (301).





23. Assemble the low blowoff ball valve (324) and valve spring (323) into the valve body (301).
24. Compress the valve spring (323) into the valve body (301). Install the low blowoff valve spring retainer (325) into the valve body (301).





25. Install new O-ring seals (307, 316) onto the pressure control solenoid valve (322) if they had been removed.
26. Assemble the torque signal regulator valve spring (320), valve (321) and pressure control solenoid valve (322) into the valve body (301).
27. Hold the shift solenoid valve (322) in the valve body (301). Install the torque signal regulator valve spring retainer (314E) into the valve body (301).





28. Install a new O-ring seal (316) onto the 1-2, 3-4 shift solenoid valve (315A) if it had been removed.
29. Assemble the 1-2 shift valve spring (317), the 1-2 shift valve (318) and the 1-2, 3-4 shift solenoid valve (315A) into the valve body (301).
30. Hold the shift solenoid valve (315A) in the valve body (301). Install the 1-2, 3-4 shift solenoid valve spring retainer (314D) into the valve body (301).





31. Assemble the reverse boost valve (310), the boost valve assembly (304) and the bore plug (303) into the reverse boost valve bushing (309).
32. Assemble the pressure regulator valve (313), the pressure regulator valve springs (311, 312) and the reverse boost valve bushing (309) into the valve body (301).
33. Hold the valve bushing (309) in the valve body (301). Install the line boost valve retainer (302) into the valve body (301).
