Left Instrument Panel Insulator

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover




1. Use the J 38778 in order to remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator retainers from the steering column opening filler panel.




2. Disconnect the courtesy lamp from the instrument panel insulator by turning 1/4 turn counterclockwise.




3. Remove the left IP insulator from the stud at the accelerator pedal.
4. Remove the left IP insulator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the left instrument panel (IP) insulator to the IP.
2. Install the courtesy lamp to the instrument panel insulator then rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to secure




3. Install the left IP insulator to the stud at the accelerator pedal.




4. Install the left IP insulator retainers to the steering column opening filler panel.
