LOW TIRE PRESSURE Indicator

The Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBTCM) monitors the wheel speed sensors. When the (EBTCM) detects a difference in the speed of one tire that represents a change in air pressure of at least 84 kPa (12 PSI) for more than 8 minutes, it sends a signal on the serial data (class II) line to the Instrument Cluster (IC). The IC then turns on the LOW TIRE PRESSURE indicator. For more information, refer to Low Tire Pressure Warning.
