Fast Reverse (REV)

The REV (fast reverse) button is a non-latching momentary contact control that serves a dual function with radio preset 1. This button is of a press and hold nature. The button allows reverse movement within the disc at a faster rate than normal playback rate as long as the button is held. When activated, the audio level is reduced by 6 dB and the disc will play in the reverse direction at a rate of 6 times normal speed.

Elapsed time within the selected track will be displayed while in the REV mode. The track (and disc in CD applications), followed in 5 seconds by elapsed time, followed in 5 more seconds by the user selected default will be displayed after the REV button is released.
