Seek

The SEEK push-button is a rocker type switch which provides seek up or down of CD tracks in the direction pressed while in the CD mode. This button is shared with the frequency seek function in tuner mode and with cassette seek in dual playback applications.

If the top portion of the rocker is depressed, audio will be muted as the deck moves to the beginning of the next track, then begins playing. Each successive momentary press of this button will increment the track number by one.

This function is replicated on models equipped with Steering Wheel Controls.

If the bottom portion of the rocker is depressed, audio will be muted as the deck moves to the beginning of the current track, then begins playing. If however, this function is enabled within the first 8 seconds of a track, the unit will go to, then start playing the beginning of the previous track. Each successive momentary press of this button will decrement the track number by one.

For remote CD changer applications, seek down will operate between tracks on all available discs. After the first track on a disc has played, the unit will decrement to the last track on the last available disc and begin playing.
