Turn Lights

With the ignition switch in the RUN or START position, battery positive voltage (B+) is applied through IP Fuse Block TURN LAMPS Fuse via CKT 539 (PNK) to the turn signal flasher and then to each turn switch in the turn/hazard switch assembly via CKT 16 (PPL). With the turn switch in the LH TURN position, battery positive voltage (B+) is applied through the turn/hazard switch assembly through two paths to the lamps. One path is through the LH front park/turn lights and the side marker lights. The second path is applied through the LH tail/stop/turn lights. The lamps turn on immediately. They begin to flash when the current heats up the timing element in the turn signal flasher, and the flasher repeatedly opens and closes the circuit. A similar procedure is followed when the turn switch is in the RH TURN position.
