Horizontal and Vertical Levelers

Description:

Description:

1. Vehicle preparation for checking beam aim:
A. Assemble all components on vehicle.
B. Position vehicle on a level surface.
C. Stop all other work on vehicle.
D. Close doors.
E. Rock vehicle sideways to stabilize suspension.

NOTE: Horizontal aiming of the headlamps must be performed before vertical aiming to obtain the correct headlamp aim.

2. Set horizontal adjuster to 0 (zero) mark by turning horizontal aiming adjustment screw until pointer is lined up with 0 (zero).
3. Adjust vertical aim by turning vertical aiming screw until bubble in level is centered at 0 (zero).
^ If fuel tank is near empty to 1/4 full, adjust aim to center bubble at -4°. This will reduce the chance of raising the headlamp beam into oncoming driver's eyes when the fuel tank is filled.
