This feature allows the driver to delay the locking of the vehicle after the lock switch has been activated. Upon activating the lock switch with the driver's door open, a chime will sound to let the driver know that they are in the delayed locking mode. After all doors have been closed for 5 seconds they will lock automatically. Opening any door before the 5 seconds have elapsed will cause the timer to reset once all doors are again closed. This feature can be programmed on or off for each transmitter.
