Check Oil Level Indicator

The oil level sensing system consists of an oil level sensor and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The oil level sensor provides the oil level signal to the PCM on CKT 1174 (BRN). The PCM processes the signal. If the PCM determines that a low oil condition exists, it grounds CKT 1173 (BRN/WMT) to illuminate the CHECK 011 LEVEL indicator.
