Steering Wheel Controls and Horn Wiring

NOTE: The steering wheel control switches and connector are serviced as an assembly. The horn ground and contact lead are serviced as an assembly.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system.
2. Inflator module.
3. Four screws and protector plate from inflator module.
4. Switch assembly, by removing two screws per side and working it off the inflator module.
5. Horn ground and contact lead by disconnecting from inflator module.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Horn ground and contact lead to inflator module.
2. Control switch assembly into place; secure with two screws per side.
3. Protector plate and four screws to inflator module.
4. Inflator module.
5. Enable the SIR system.
