Steering Wheel Radio Controls Replacement

Steering Wheel:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Disable Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system.
2. Inflator (2) 10 mm screws and electrical connection.
3. Radio control switch connector from wire protector plate. The connector is held to the plate by an "S" clamp. Use a screwdriver to slide the Connector off the plate.
4. Wire protector plate, (4) screws using a #30 Torx(R) driver.
5. Steering wheel radio control switch from inflator module (2) #20 Torx(R) screws.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Inflator module (2) 10 mm screws and electrical connection.
^ Tighten inflator to steering wheel screws to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
2. Wire protector plate, (4) screws using a #30 Torx(R) driver.
3. Radio control switch connector to wire protector plate.
4. Steering wheel radio control switch to inflator module (2) #15 Torx(R) screws.
^ Tighten redundant radio control screws to 1 Nm (9 inch lbs.).
5. Enable SIR system.
