Remote Lock Control Transmitter (Typical):
The transmitter has three buttons and provides touch control of the following vehicle functions:
^ Door LOCK Button: All doors will automatically lock when the LOCK button on the transmitter is pressed once. If the button is pressed a second time, within 5 seconds, the horn chirp will sound indicating that the doors have been locked.
^ Door UNLOCK Button: The driver's door will unlock automatically and the interior lights will illuminate when the UNLOCK button on the transmitter is pressed once. If the UNLOCK button is pressed a second time, within 5 seconds, all remaining doors will unlock automatically.
^ REAR COMPARTMENT LID RELEASE Button: The rear compartment lid will unlock and the interior lights will illuminate when the REAR COMPARTMENT LID RELEASE Button is pressed on the transmitter providing the Remote Trunk Release Lockout is not engaged and the transaxle gear selector is in PARK or NEUTRAL.
IMPORTANT
Use care to avoid unintentional operation of the transmitter when within range of the vehicle. This may cause the doors to lock or the door(s) or rear compartment lid to unlock unintentionally.
