Component Tests and General Diagnostics
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. If no seat functions operate, check PWR ST Fuse by visual inspection.
2. Make sure G3O2 is clean and tight.
3. If rear or front Height function is inoperable, but entire seat moves up and down, replace Seat Switch.
4. If the entire seat does not move up and down, but the rear and front Height functions operate properly, replace Seat Switch.
5. If a motor's internal circuit breaker trips, it will reset only after voltage is removed from the motor.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove GOOD in a continuity/voltage check (refer to Troubleshooting Procedures).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (refer to Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
