Engine Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure

^ Tools Required
- J 28467-360 Engine Support Fixture

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the bolt attaching the surge tank.
3. Remove the coolant recovery tank and position it aside.
4. Install J 28467-360 and raise the engine off of the mount.





5. Remove the nuts holding the mount (2) to the body.
6. Remove the bolts (1) holding the engine bracket to the mount.
7. Remove the engine mount (2) assembly.

Installation Procedure

^ Tools Required
- J 28467-360 Engine Support Fixture





1. Install the engine mount (2) assembly.
2. Install the bolts holding the engine bracket to the mount (1). Do NOT tighten.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the nuts holding the mount to the body.
^ Tighten the bolts holding the engine bracket (3) to the mount to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.).

^ Tighten the nuts holding the mount to the body to 66 Nm (49 ft. lbs.).

4. Remove J 28467-360.
5. Install the surge tank.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
