General Description

The instrument panel allows removal of all control switches, instruments and gauges from the driver's side of the instrument panel. Trim covers are held in place by screws and clips. The cluster housing contains the speedometer, gauges, indicators, and instrument panel bulbs and is attached to the I/P pad.

NOTICE: When replacing a speedometer or odometer assembly, the federal law requires the odometer reading of the replacement unit to be set to register the same mileage as the prior odometer. If the same mileage cannot be set, the law requires that the replacement odometer be set to zero and a label be installed on the driver's door frame to show previous odometer reading and the date of replacement.
