Up Shift (Manual Transaxle Only)

The Upshift Indicator is illuminated to indicate optimum shift points for maximum fuel economy. When this light is on, shift transaxle to the next higher gear range, if conditions persist. This indicator is controlled by (he Instrument Cluster as commanded by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via serial data. This indicator will not turn on as result of serial data loss (the Ignition Switch is in the OFF/UNLOCK position).
