Instrument Cluster Tests

TABLE #4 - Instrument Cluster TESTS:

In this mode of operation, the scan tool can command the Instrument Cluster to override its normal operation and force the Instrument Cluster to enable its outputs (gages move, indicators lit etc...). This mode can be used to determine whether the instrument Cluster is capable of producing a given output. The outputs that can be controlled are listed on TABLE #4. This table is broken into SECTIONS that represent screens as they will be referred to on the scan tool.
