CRUISE

The CRUISE Indicator is controlled by the Instrument Cluster as commanded by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via serial data. The cruise control is monitored by the PCM. When Cruise Control is engaged, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) commands the indicator ON. As a bulb check procedure, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) will command this indicator ON when the Instrument Cluster and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) are powered up (the Ignition Switch in the OFF/UNLOCK, RUN or CRANK positions).
