c. Output Shaft Disassemble

^ Tools Required
- J 22227-A Bearing Remover
- J 41677 Pilot
- J 22912-01 Split Plate





1. Remove the front output bearing using the J 22227-A and the J 41677 and a press.





2. Remove the rear output bearing and the 3rd/4th gear simultaneously using the J 22912-01 (inverted) and a press.





3. Remove the following components as an assembly using a press:
^ The needle bearing
^ The collar
^ The 2nd gear
^ The 1st/2nd gear synchronizer assembly
^ The 1st gear
^ The key

4. Remove the thrust bearing.
5. Remove the thrust bearing washer.
