Vehicle Access Code

In order to perform any operation, the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module must receive a valid Vehicle Access Code (VAC) from the transmitter. If the IGN1 and the ACC1 inputs are both inactive, the RFA module turns on the vehicle interior lamps when the RFA module receives a VAC from the transmitter. The interior lamps remain on until one of the following conditions occur:
^ The RFA module receives a Class 2 message from the door jamb switch indicating that at least 1 door is open. The interior lights remain on because of the dome lamp switch contacts.
^ The IGN1 or the ACC1 inputs become active.
^ The RFA module receives a Class 2 message that the lock switch is active for all of the doors.
^ The UHF link receives a Lock All Doors command.
^ 15 seconds elapse.
