Remote Function Actuator (RFA) Module

The RFA module is the master Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) module. In order to determine the alarm mode, the RFA monitors the class 2 messages from the following components:
^ The other modules
^ The keyless entry transmitter

The RFA directly monitors the IGN1/ACC1 signals from the ignition switch. In the ALARM mode, the RFA controls the following components:
^ The exterior lights
^ The horns

The RFA also controls the SECURITY indicator for both of the following systems:
^ The PASS-Key(R) III system when the ignition is active
^ The CTD system when the key is absent from the ignition switch

The RFA module supplies a ground on CKT 264 (DK GRN) in order to activate the SECURITY indicator.

The RFA module has no diagnostic trouble code.
