Delayed Locking
Delayed locking allows the driver to delay the locking of the vehicle after the lock switch is activated. A chime sounds 3 times in order to let the driver know that the vehicle is in delayed locking mode. The following conditions must be present in order to activate the locking mode:^ The lock switch is activated.
^ The driver door is open.
^ The key is out of the ignition switch.
After the doors have been closed for 5 seconds, the doors lock automatically. Opening any door before the 5 seconds elapse resets the timer. The timer restarts once all of the doors close again.
The delayed locking program may be programmed ON or OFF for each transmitter.
