Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the front seat assembly.
2. Remove the head restraint.
3. Remove the seat back trim cover.
4. Release the J-channel from the following locations:
^ The top of the frame
^ The bottom of the frame
^ Both sides of the frame
5. Disconnect the seat heater electrical connector if necessary.




6. Remove the seatback cover (2) from the seatback cushion (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Align the seatback cover (2) on the seatback cushion (1).
2. Press the seams into position. Engage the hook and the loop.
3. Align the seatback cushion to the frame.

Route the heated seat wire along the seat back frame if necessary.
4. Work the top and the bottom of the cover (2) over the seatback cushion (1).
5. Latch the J-channel to the seatback.
6. Work the sides of the cover (2) over the seatback cushion (1).
7. Latch the J-channel to the seatback.
8. Install the seatback trim cover.




9. install the head restraint support trim cover (6).
10. Install the head restraint.
11. Install the front seat assembly.
