Blower Motor: Description and Operation

BLOWER MOTOR DESCRIPTION
The blower consists of the following components:
^ A permanent magnet type motor
^ A squirrel cage type fan

The blower operates at various speeds. The heater and A/C programmer determine the operation speeds. The blower motor cools by having a small portion of the blower output air recirculate through the motor housing through a rubber tube. The blower is located at the right side of the blower module, near the right of the vehicle.
