Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

SCAN TOOL METHOD
Erase the DTC in the heater and A/C programmer using one of the following procedures:
1. Select the diagnostic trouble codes.
2. View the DTCs completely
3. The scan tool will display, CLEAR DTCs? ANSWER YES.
4. Answer YES in order to clear the DTC.

IGNITION CYCLE DEFAULT
A drive cycle occurs when you turn ON the ignition. If no diagnostic trouble code occurs for 50 drive cycles, any existing history DTCs will clear from the memory of the heater and A/C programmer.
