Interior Lamp Control Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console. Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the interior lamp controller connector (2).

3. Remove the lower retainer bracket from the interior lamp controller module bracket.

4. Squeeze the prongs together in order to release the interior lamp controller module.

5. Remove the interior lamp controller module from the mounting bracket by pulling down on the interior lamp controller module.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Complete the following steps in order to install the interior lamp controller module on the bracket:
1.1. Slide the module upward and slightly rearward into the mounting bracket.
1.2. Slide the module until the locking tabs engage.

2. Install the lower retainer bracket to the interior lamp controller module bracket.

Engage the interior lamp controller module center prongs into the module bracket center area.
3. Connect the interior lamp controller electrical connections (2).
4. Install the left sound insulator.
