PROGRAMMER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right sound insulator.
3. Remove the IP compartment.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the programmer.
5. Remove the retaining tabs from the programmer.





6. Remove the programmer (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: After the programmer is replaced, recalibrate the actuators for proper travel. Cycle the ignition ON for 3 minutes to recalibrate the programmer and the actuators for proper travel.





1. Install the programmer (1) into the retainer on the bracket (2).




2. Connect the electrical connectors to the programmer.
3. Install the IP compartment.
4. Install the right sound insulator.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
