Trunk / Liftgate Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Insert a flat-bladed tool between the face plate of the trim plate and the lower IP (1). Pry out the face plate.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
3. Remove the fuel door release/luggage compartment (valet) switch (2) from the face plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the fuel door release/luggage compartment (valet) switch (2) to the face plate.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Push the face plate into the lower IP in order to engage the retainers.
