Draining the Power Steering System
Replacement of the power steering fluid consists of the following 2 steps:1. Flush the old fluid from the system with new fluid.
2. Bleed the system in order to remove trapped air.
You may use this procedure in cold climates, where temperatures are -12°C (10°F) or colder. Use this procedure in order to flush and change the fluid to Low Temperature Climate Service Fluid GM P/N 12345866 or equivalent.
