Garage Door Opener (GDO) - Erasing Channels - Universal
1. Hold down the two outside buttons until the red light flashes rapidly to erase all three programmed channels.2. Release the buttons. Individual channels may be reprogrammed, but not erased.
3. Use the following procedure to reprogram the channels:
3.1. The customers hand-held transmitter may automatically stop programming after 1 or 2 seconds. This may not be long enough to program the HomeLink transmitter. This applies to Canadian users only.
3.2. If you are programming with one of these transmitters, the lamp on the HomeLink transmitter may prompt you to reactivate the hand-held transmitter with a series of double flashes.
3.3. After the hand-held transmitter is reactivated, the lamp on the HomeLinkTM transmitter will flash rapidly. This indicates that the transmitter has been programmed successfully.
3.4. If the lamp returns to a slow flash, reactivate the hand-held transmitter until the lamp flashes rapidly.
3.5. If the lamp does not perform as indicated, or if the opener does not function properly, refer to Garage Door Opener System Check. Testing and Inspection
