Rear Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the inner and outer belt moldings.
4. Remove the window.
5. Remove the window run channel.
6. Remove the upper fastener from the header.
7. Remove the access hole plug (3).
8. Remove the bolts (2).
9. Remove the window (1) by rotating forward and lifting upward.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the window (1) into the door frame.
2. Loosely install the lower bolt (2).
3. Rotate the window rearward in order to engage the 2 clips.
4. Install the fastener in the header.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the lower bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the lower bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

6. Install the access hole plug (3).
7. Install the window run channel.
8. Install the window.
9. Install the inner and outer belt moldings.
10. Install the water deflector.
11. Install the door trim panel.
