Power Steering Fluid: Description and Operation

NOTICE: When adding fluid or making a complete fluid change, always use the proper fluid. Failure to use the proper fluid will cause hose and seal damage and fluid leaks.

There is a fluid level indicator on the fluid reservoir cap. The marks on the fluid level indicator indicate the power steering fluid level.

Fluid that is warmed up has the following characteristics:
- The temperature is, hot to the touch, approximately 66�C (1 50�F).
- The fluid should be between the HOT and the COLD marks.

Fluid that is cool has the following characteristics:
- The temperature is approximately 21°C (70°F).
- The fluid level should be between the ADD and the COLD Marks.
