Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Service Precautions.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil pressure sensor.
4. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor.
Tighten the engine oil pressure sensor to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the electrical connector to the engine oil pressure sensor.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Install the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Service Precautions.
