Antenna: Service and Repair

Power Antenna Assembly Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right rear compartment trim.
2. Remove the drain hose (6) from the drain hole.
3. Disconnect the relay connector (4).
4. Disconnect the coaxial lead (3).
5. Remove the antenna ground lead bolt (8).
6. Remove the antenna bracket bolt (7).
7. Remove the antenna assembly.
8. Remove the bezel (2) from the quarter panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the bezel (2) to the quarter panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bezel (2) into the quarter panel.

Tighten
Tighten the bezel nut to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

3. Install the antenna assembly.
4. Install the antenna bracket bolt (7).

Tighten
Tighten the antenna bracket bolt to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in).

5. Install the antenna ground lead bolt (8).

Tighten
Tighten the antenna ground lead bolt to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in).

6. Connect the coaxial lead (3).
7. Connect the relay connector (4).
8. Install the drain hose (6) through the drain hole.
9. Install the rear compartment trim.
