Console Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the shifter trim plate.
2. Remove the ashtray.
3. Remove the nuts (2) and the bolts (1).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the console (5).
5. Remove the console (5).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the console (5) to the vehicle.
2. Connect the electrical connectors to the console (5).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the console to IP carrier fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Install the console to shifter bracket bracket fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the console to floor pan fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

6. Install the ashtray.
7. Install the shifter trim plate.
