Lock Actuator Replacement - Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Disconnect the lock actuator electrical connector.
4. Use a 4 mm (3/16 in) drill bit in order to drill out the peel-type rivets.
5. Disconnect the lock rod (3) from the actuator.
6. Remove the lock actuator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the lock actuator in the door.

IMPORTANT: The handle rod (2) must be inboard of the lock knob rod.

2. Connect the lock rod (3) to the actuator.
3. Install new peel-type rivets.
4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Install the water deflector.
6. Install the trim panel.
