Air Duct: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front seats.
2. Remove the console assembly.
3. Remove the auxiliary air duct connector.
4. Pull the carpet back away from the front of dash. Refer to Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Remove the retaining fasteners from the auxiliary air duct.
6. Remove the auxiliary air duct.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the auxiliary air duct.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the Retaining nut.

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in.)

3. Install the carpet.
4. Install the auxiliary air duct connector.
5. Install the console assembly.
6. Install the front seats.
