Instrument Panel (IP) - Cluster Trim Panel Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left IP end cap.
2. Remove the right IP end cap.
3. Remove the trim panel.
4. Remove the defroster grille.
5. Remove the windshield garnish moldings.
6. Tilt the steering wheel to the down position.
7. Remove the upper trim pad.
8. Remove the fasteners (1) that retain the trim plate to the carrier.
9. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
10. Remove the trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Partially install the trim plate.
2. Connect the electrical connectors (2). Align the trim plate to the IP.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the fasteners (1) to the trim plate.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Install the upper trim pad.
5. Install the windshield garnish moldings.
6. Install the defroster grille.
7. Install the trim panel.
8. Install the right IP end cap.
9. Install the left IP end cap.
10. Adjust the tilt steering wheel to the original position.
