Trunk / Liftgate Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the drivers door map pocket.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment release switch.
3. Push in on the retainers to release the switch (1). Remove the switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the rear compartment release switch (1) to the door trim panel.
Push the switch inward in order to fasten the switch.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the map pocket.
