Front Seat Adjustment
Seat Adjustment at Floorpan Attachment
Important: Do not overtighten the adjuster-to-floorpan bolts. Over torqued bolts may cause a hard seat travel condition.
1. The bolts that attach the seat adjusters to the floor pan allow a small amount of adjustment in the following directions:
* Fore and aft
* Side to side
2. The adjustment can be used for the following purposes:
* Alignment of the seat
* Alignment of the seat adjusters with each other
3. The adjustment can be used to help correct the following conditions:
* Hard or slow operation that is caused by misalignment of the adjusters
* Inability of the manually operated seat adjuster to lock.
