System Operation

A light sensor on top of the instrument panel makes the DRL system work, be sure that it is not covered. The DRL system will make the high-beam headlamps come on at a reduced brightness when, the ignition is on the headlamp switch is off and the parking brake is released. When the DRL system is on, only the high-beam headlamps will be on. The headlamps, tail lamps, sidemarker, instrument panel lamps will not be on. When it is dark enough outside, the high-beam headlamps will turn off and the vehicles headlamps and parking lamps will turn on, including all other lamps that come on with the headlamps. When it is bright enough outside, the headlamps will go off and the high-beam headlamps will come on.
