AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT





REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the ambient temperature sensor (3) that is located on the right front radiator air baffle.
3. Remove the push-in retainer (2) from the ambient temperature sensor.
4. Remove the ambient temperature sensor (3) from the radiator air baffle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the ambient temperature sensor (3) to the radiator air baffle.
2. Install the push-in retainer (2) to the ambient temperature sensor.
3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the ambient temperature sensor.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
5. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 32 km/h (20 mph) for approximately one and a half minutes or at a speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) for approximately one minute in order to obtain the ambient update.
