Automatic Door Lock Operation Modes

The above table lists the modes of operation of the automatic door lock system. This system is commanded according to the information stored in the RIM. The RIM receives the driver selected features from the Driver Information Center (DIC). The RIM commands the Driver Door Module (DDM) which in turn commands the individual passenger door modules.

Shift Out Of Park Lock - will lock all doors when the transmission selector leaves the PARK position.

Ignition Off Unlock - will unlock doors when the ignition switch is turned to OFF from another position.

Shift Into Park Unlock - will unlock doors when the transmission selector is placed into PARK from any other position.
