Throttle Body Air Inlet Screen Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the electrical connector (2) from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor (1).




3. Remove the air intake duct.




4. Remove the snap ring (3) from the throttle body (1).
5. Remove the air inlet screen (2) from the throttle body.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air inlet screen (2) into the throttle body (1).
2. Install the snap ring (3) onto the throttle body.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the air intake duct.

Tighten
Tighten the air intake tube clamp to 2 Nm (18 lb in).




4. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the IAT sensor (1).
