Trunk / Liftgate Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the drivers side front door.
2. Remove the rear compartment release switch (2) by prying up with a flat bladed tool.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the rear compartment release switch (2) by pressing it into the door trim panel until firmly seated.
3. Close the door.
