Door Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Insert a flat bladed tool under the front edge of the switch plate (2).
2. Gently pry upwards to release the front edge of the switch plate (2) from the door trim panel (1).
3. Slide the switch plate forward to release the rear retainer tabs.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




5. Remove the switchplate (2) from the switchplate (1) by releasing the retainer tabs with a small flat bladed tool.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Snap the switch pack into the switchplate.




2. Install the electrical connectors.
3. Install the rear end of the switch plate into the door trim panel.
4. Press down on the front of the switch plate to engage the retainer clip.
