Fuel Injector (Typical):

The fuel pressure regulator maintains a constant fuel pressure at the fuel injectors. Remaining fuel is then returned to the fuel tank. Fuel pressure can be observed use a fuel pressure gauge at the fuel pressure gauge connection.
