Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the fluid temperature sensor (391).
3. Remove the wiring harness assembly with fluid temperature sensor.
4. Remove the fluid temperature sensor.

Installation Procedure





1. Install fluid temperature sensor.
2. Connect the harness to the fluid temperature sensor (391).
3. Install the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement.
4. Check the fluid level.
