Instrument Panel Harness Connector Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
2. Push on the lever located on the rear edge of the IP harness connector bracket in order to lower the IP harness connector bracket.
This will provide access to the connectors.




3. Disconnect all of the following components from the bottom of the bracket (4):

* The connectors (1, 3)
* The antenna lead (2)

4. Remove the 4 fasteners from the IP harness connector bracket.
3 of the fasteners are located on the bottom of the IP harness connector bracket.
The upper left fastener is located approximately 125 mm (5 in) above the IP harness connector bracket.
5. Disconnect the connectors from the IP harness connector bracket.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the connectors to the IP harness connector bracket.
2. Install the IP harness connector bracket to the IP carrier.
3. Connect the following components into the connector on the IP harness connector bracket (4):

* All of the connectors (1, 3)
* The antenna lead (2)

4. Push up on the lever in order to lock the IP harness connector bracket.
5. Push up on the IP harness connector bracket until the IP harness connector bracket latches.
6. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
