Right

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right I/P end cap.
2. Remove the right sound insulator.
3. Remove the fastener (1) from the upper edge of the right lower IP assembly.
4. Remove the fasteners (2) from the lower edge of the right lower IP assembly.




5. Remove the fasteners (1) from the upper edge of the right side lower IP assembly.
6. Disconnect the electrical connections on the right side of the vehicle.
7. Lower the IP trim panel enough to access the right IP duct.
8. Remove the retaining screws for the IP duct and lower the right side to access the A/C panel sensor.




9. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor (1).
10. Remove the sensor (1) from the duct.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the sensor (1) into the duct.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the right side IP duct and screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).




4. Reposition the lower IP trim panel.
5. Install the fasteners (1) onto the upper edge of the right side lower IP assembly.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




6. Install the fastener (1) on to the upper edge of the right lower IP assembly.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

7. Install the fasteners (2) on to the lower edge of the right lower IP assembly.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

8. Install the right IP vent trim plate.
9. Install the right sound insulator.
10. Install the right IP end cap.
